4 hours
Discover the cyanotype process through demo’s that include coating paper with light-sensitive chemicals and hands-on activities using stencils and found plants. We will bridge the gap between the patterns of Islamic geometry and the observable patterns in nature, exploring how Islamic geometric patterns serve as abstractions of natural forms. This workshop will draw parallels between structured geometry and the organic beauty of the natural world while creating your own unique blue-hued artworks.
